One very simple solution would be that whoever got the first hit in that round with a dko would win the match since it would be fair and rewards those who take the initiative, so exploiting a dko to keep playing wouldn't work anymore

It's more busted than that, you can use the jab to extend the range of his command throw, and in combination with jump-in jabs, can be used to force the opponent into a proximity block to chase them down if they try to keep spacing.
Zangief's crouching jab was always broken.
The only BM I know of is bowel movements. Coincidentally they're usually funky as well.
What if a final round Double KO just has you do the round over? Nobody gets a win or loss icon in the HUD, both players get full HP, reset to round start position, and the game restores the meters (and any other resources) to where they were when that round started. You get a full-on do-over until there's a definitive winner.

If I were a dev I would make a last sudden death mini game of rock paper scissors, bot characters stand in front of the other and cannot move, screen goes black for half a second and they have to decide to hit, grab or guard. Hit beats grab Grab beats guard Guard guard pinishes hit

As someone who does not play street fighter it is actually not obvious why SF3 judgement being based on rank is un-competitive. In my view, getting a double KO at all already proves that the players are almost perfectly evenly matched. At that point even a coinflip couldn't really be considered unfair since both players are already proven they deserve the win. Unless there's some way that judgement actively rewards unskillful or lame play

Can’t people just play these games to have fun? Nothing is fun about getting online and being instakilled because of infinites or not having a chance to learn the damn game. Try hards are lame, people who wait for timeouts are lame, and people who play top tier solely because of their tier are lame

best cancel in history: cancel SSBM mario/luigi's dash attack into a grab; on some characters, this gives them a nice boost forward as they grab. on the Mario bros, it makes them go "wahoo" as they grab.

Colossus is a God assist on this game. 😂 And I learned something new today after of almost 2 decades of playing this game. Now I know how to pick Rogue or Shadow when I want to without having to go alllll the way back to gamefaqs
When I first heard about this mechanic I thought it had to be a leg pull. But nope. I fired up MAME, kept mashing jab, being very careful not to even touch the D-pad or analog stick, and sure enough, eventually a hadoken came out.
Actually in third strike its extremely good its actually an amazing ant air tool cuz it links into roundhouse so if someone parries the fierce they get hit with the round house. Between crouching fierce, roundhouse and and shoryu it makes ryus anti air tool kit one of the best and unpredictable and medium jab as well

as a faust player in GGST, I've seen my fair share of double KOs simply due to me and the oppenent exploding to one of my bombs.

Stuns origins are tainted for sure, but modern day stun has been close to perfected in SFV for more traditional, and 6 for the more modern spin. It rewards repeated skillful play in a single round and is almost entirely avoidable outside of true setups into a guess.
Zangief's grab range on his Spinning Piledriver was broken in the OG SF II, too. You could even grab E. Honda through the full range of his 100-Hand Slap.
